Checkout this Gorgeous sweet little fella.
Yarra is a smaller size kelpie weighing in at nearly 11 kilos at 6 and a half months old.
Hes a sweet lovable little guy who really wants to be loved
He is really coming out of his shell as he was a little timid when he first came in but now runs to greet you first thing in the morning and sits at your feet waiting for a pat and a cuddle and if you put your back to him he will give you a little nudge with his nose to remind you that he is still there

Food
Yarra has an amazing appetite and is currently being fed Taste of the Wild puppy Dry Food Twice a day and never leaves any behind.
Sleeping
As yarra was a little timid on his first few days of arrival we set him up in a covered large crate inside to sleep and he loved it and when it's bed time he quite happily goes in there and goes straight to sleep but has been known to wake up and have a little nibble on his bed . We recommend his crate sleep continues in his new home
Toileting
When Yarra wakes up in the morning he is let straight outside where he will go to the toilet and hasn't had any accidents in his crate or the house but will have the occasional accident out of excitement.
Training and Walking
Yarra will still need work on his toilet training if you plan to have him inside with you throughout the day as while in foster care he is outside most of the day.
Yarra will take treats very gently when given to him, he is treat motivated and will always sit on command for his treats and meals and even with his 2 foster sisters he will wait his turn for his treat.
We have also tried feeding him with the resident kelpie and they will stand side by side eating and will also eat out of the same bowl at the same time with no issues at all. Yarra didn't really know what toys are but is learning to play with them.
Yarra is just learning to walk on a lead as l am sure by the way he reacted he had never had a collar on , but regardless of this he is really doing great, he will walk beside you and not pull at all except for the occasional bush sniff lol and he will sit at the kerb when told he just likes to please you.
Bath time
Yarra is very easy to bath and once towel dried l also use the hair dryer just to finish him off which he doesn't love but also doesn't seem to mind it
Socialisation
Yarra is currently in foster care with a kelpie and a dachshund which he definitely has more confidence when they are around, he has met a few dogs on walks and wiggles his little bottom in excitement when he gets to meet them.
Home we are looking for for Yarra

. Must have a large yard or acreage. Sruvre fencing with plenty of shade and shelter
. Children over the age of 5
. Someone who will walk him and socialise him regularly
. Someone who is prepared to take him for further training
. Yarra definitely has more confidence in the presence of another dog so we wouls prefer a home with a BFF for him and we would be seeking a loving and playful female
