About Buzz
Buzz’s personality:
Buzz is the sweetest, most well-behaved dog who will win you over in a heartbeat! We anticipate that Buzz is approximately 8 months old currently and is an Australian Cattle Dog X. Buzz is deaf and we believe he can hear some loud noises, but he mostly relies on sight and physical cues. He will sit and wait for food, walks amazingly well on lead and has such a happy personality! When he sees you, his big tail wag (which actually includes the rest of his body!), is a great indicator of just how happy he is to see you. Buzz loves to be around people and has a calm and gentle personality.
Buzz’s ideal forever home:
Buzz would be suited to just about any home! As long as his new family are willing to continue with training while he is still a puppy. He is very friendly with other dogs and would suit having a canine companion - however this is not a necessity provided he has someone home often enough. Buzz is active and playful and will need lots of space to run, as well as regular walks. He would suit a home with children and would love a young family that he can grow up alongside. Buzz is also non-reactive to our clinic cats and knows how to behave around older doggies.
Buzz’s story:
Buzz was transported into Sweet Pea Animal Hospital by the council rangers to receive treatment for tick paralysis in early September. He was treated for tick paralysis and stayed on to complete his council impound time under duty of care. Buzz was originally found near the turnoff to Failford Rd on the Pacific Highway. Attempts to find his owners have so far been unsuccessful and once his impound time was completed, he was transferred into the care of Sweet Pea Animal Rescue. Buzz has obviously been loved and well cared for, and a lot of time and effort has gone into his training. He will be a blessing to any home.
More about Buzz:
We have never met a puppy like Buzz! He is well-mannered, well-behaved and has got the cutest face you could ever imagine. He loves human company and will never pass up a cuddle. This playful pup can't wait to find his forever home soon!
His adoption fee is $450 and this contributes towards the cost of his care to date.
Medical notes
Buzz’s medical history:
Buzz is a happy and healthy puppy. Whilst in our care, we have determined that Buzz has very little hearing. He appears to react to some very loud noises but cannot hear most sounds. This makes him a pretty heavy sleeper! He has been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated, as well as received treatment for fleas, ticks and worms. He has recently made a full recovery from tick paralysis.
