About Boss
Hi my name is Boss :-)
Don’t let the name fool you – I am just one of the gang that loves to hang out with my foster siblings and my human ones!
I am a 2 year and 3 months old French Bulldog
My foster parents say that I am the sweetest and cuddliest bulldozer some days and then Mr Independent other times but I do have excellent manners.
I love having naps and lazing about when my foster parents are out. When they are at home, I like to follow them around and sleep by their feet or on their lap if they let me. Because I like being around my humans, I would love someone who is around at home more often or not.
My foster parents tell me that I am great at walking on a lead and I love meeting other dogs and humans on my walks. I am a friendly boy and I am very polite around other dogs, I did have a bit of food reactivity when I came into care but my foster mum has been working on that with me.
I love to sleep in my crate at night – either alone or with another one of my French bulldog foster siblings
I currently live with some other foster siblings and I love to play with them – my foster mum says it sometimes sounds like WWE wrestling with us and we love to play and chase and smash into each other and then we crash hard and snore our cute little bums off on the couch / over our foster dad’s lap or just anywhere we land.
My foster mum says I have not been tested on cats so it really could go either way with them. However she has said something about a big ‘H- E – hockey sticks’ NO to chickens …….. Oops. Apparently one of my foster siblings and I are not helping mum when we chase them and then try and um um well um yeah okay eat them. My foster mum tells us to leave them alone – but we think we are just helping.
I am used to other dogs and would love another dog to play with / wrestle it and just have genuine company with but if not I would love a home where a human is home more often than not that can take me for walks and spend time with me – really make me a part of their family life.
I am also great around kids and happily will hang around with them inside and outside while they are playing.
I am toilet trained but may have a few accidents when I first arrive just out of nervousness but if you work with me I will happily go outside asap.
If you're looking for a big chilled-out snoring Frenchie, I would love to meet you and be your cuddle buddy!

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.

INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
