This beautiful girl is Cassie, our Tiny Dancer!

Cassie's story is complex and started off sadly when she came to SCAR with her tiny babies, but this girl has blossomed with the love and guidance of her fabulous foster carer and is now ready to head off to live her best life.

Cassie's foster carer said it best when talking about her personality at home: Cassie is very sweet. She is extremely gentle and she is happy to just sit and be near you. She smiles a lot and looks so happy. If she wants a pat on the head she will nudge you with her nose. She is very huggable!

Cassie's favourite activities include running around her yard with her precious soft toys, chasing her ball, and having her favourite people chase her. Cas also loves to hoard her soft toys in her bed (or yours!).

In some ways, Cassie has stayed true to her GSD roots. Cassie can be protective of her home (and she likes everybody to think she is a big tough Shepherd!) and would do best in a home located in a quieter area with a good sized yard to play in.

Cassie loves to go on long walks where she can investigate the sights and smells in her own time, relax and enjoy the open air. When out and about, she relies heavily on her people to feel safe and secure. Once she knows she can 'hand over the reins' to you and trust that you have the situation under control, Cassie relaxes and enjoys her day!

We've all come to love this petite little German Shepherd and her quirks, so are committed to making sure she finds the right person to continue her journey with. To make sure this happens, e are looking for the following for this beautiful little girl.

- A calm, confident and kind human to become Cassie's new guide in life.
- A home as an only pet and with no kids, where Cassie's introductions to other dogs and unfamiliar people can be structured and at her own pace.
- A large, secure yard where Cassie can relax in the sun and help out with the gardening or while you tinker in the shed.
- A good supply of soft toys and meaty treats!
