About Hermes
Hi there! My name is Hermes and I can't wait to meet you! đđ»
When I was just a little baby I had a run in with a car and ended up with some nasty breaks in my pelvis and legs. Luckily some nice people found me and took me to the vet where they fixed me up and introduced me to Happy Tails.
After a surgery on my leg and lots of TLC, I am ready to find my forever home! I do have some nerve damage on one of my back legs which gives me a funny walk but it doesn't hurt and definitely doesn't slow me down! My foster mum says it just adds to my charm.
I love being around people and will happily sit on your lap and purr all day. If you are lucky I may even help you with your computer work. I also love to play - my tunnel and my flipping fish are my favourite toys. Kids are cool too, as long as they know how to play gentle we will get along fine. I am a chilled out, easygoing kitten.
I love other cats and would be happy to have a friend to play with. Dogs are fine, as long as they like me we will get along fine! I even like birds, but I know I am allowed to look and not touch. If you want it to be just me and you, that is fine by me too.
Because of the injury to my pelvis I will have some special medical needs. The vet says that my pelvis is a little narrow which puts me at risk of something called megacolon. This means I will need to be on a special diet to keep my belly happy, and I will need someone prepared to look after me if I do get sick. Because of my leg, I will need to be a strictly indoor cat to keep me safe.
If you want to meet me please contact my friends at Happy Tails. I'm sure we will be best friends!
