About Doc
đ Special Needsđ
Doc
Pomeranian cross Terrier
Male
DOB; 6yrs old
M/C#98200364667170
Doc is a playful and smart little guy. He loves cuddles and scratches and getting all of the attention!
We've been told he gets along with most cats but isn't a fan of dogs if he doesn't know them and also from past trauma with the loss of one eye makes him very cautious around large dogs.
* Since being in care he has been friendly and seems fine around small dogs.
He's good on the lead and likes going for walks.
Secure yard and fencing required as he will try to escape and wander off.
A few months ago Doc lost his
Left eye from a large dog, and is currently partially blind in his right eye since the injury.
At the time of the incident it was advised this may stay the same, get better or it may get worse and become completely blind over time.
* With a recent vet check and updated Vaccination, vets have said his eye sight is quite good in his right eye.
Doc may be best suited as the only dog and in a home where things will stay the same, a home where he can feel safe and secure if he does go completely blind.
Although having a small dog companion may be ok. A meet and greet would need to take place First.
