Meet the adorable, the amazing, the magical Ruby! She's a sweet, sensitive loveable lady who can be a little unsure in new environments. She's looking for an adopter who can understand her body language and realize when she may be feeling overwhelmed. But, once Ruby knows you she is a gentle girl, who will nudge your arm to let you know she's there and ready for some lovin'. Oh and did we tell you she loves to play ball and will be your best friend in no time after a game of fetch? Ruby is very treat motivated! Once settled into the home, Ruby would shine with some extra training. She also knows her basic manners, 'sit' 'drop' and is eager to learn more. She'll need someone who is home more often than not as she did show some signs of separation anxiety when left alone. Ruby's new family will need to be home to settle her in and then work on gradually leaving her alone for longer periods of time. She'd be ideal in a home with calm older children, and meeting them at time of adoption. She has lived in a home with another dog in the past whom she got along well with, but Ruby will need to meet any pooch you may have at home to ensure they get along.
