About Bluey
Hi I’m Bluey, my Brother Bandit and I were found roaming the streets and taken to a local vet clinic. After weeks of searching for our owners no one came forward so Belle Vie took us in, we can’t understand why no one wanted us as we are pretty perfect.
I adore children and love nothing more than running, playing and cuddling with them. I can be a bit jumpy at first, but I promise I’m learning how to contain my excitement. Unlike my brother I’m always on the go I love exploring and getting up to mischief. I adore people and thrive on positive reinforcement if I’m up to no good.
I would do amazing in a home by myself or one that has another doggy friend for me to play with. I do show a little bit of food aggression towards other dogs at meal times so need to be fed separately or under supervision.
Cats don’t seem to bother me at all, but I spend most of my time outside away from them. Other than my brother my best mate is a lamb (pretty sure he thinks he’s a dog too) so I would be okay around other animals given proper introductions and supervision at the start. I have also been around chickens and ducks, However if they run, I run ,so will need to be supervised around them.
I am doing extremely well with my lead and harness training, although i don’t really like being restrained
I much prefer being off lead free to run and explore.I am doing well with my basic training, as I am still quite young i will need to have this continued in my new home so I can keep learning and increase my skills.
I sleep in an open crate at night or the kennel, I sleep all night and don’t make a sound. I have been doing well with my toileting, but I am still new to spending time inside so I may have accidents.
Although my breed isn’t confirmed it’s very likely I am crossed with a small breed possibly Jack Russell Terrier, Its also likely that I won’t grow very big at all and may not be anymore than 10kgs.
