About Jasper
*In foster care in Chippendale, Sydney*
Lavished with patience and kindness in his foster home, Jasper is now learning how wonderful life can be! You'll need to go at his slow and steady pace as he adjusts to his new world, but the rewards are sure to be worth it. We can tell you that food is his love language, so that's definitely the way to his heart!
Jasper enjoys laying in the sunshine, playing with his brothers, and having lots of purrsonal space :) This sweet guy is looking for a special someone who just wants to give him a safe place without expecting anything in return. He feels very comfortable around other cats and is likely to thrive with a kitty companion or two. Jasper is getting better at receiving pats now too, with a bit more time he will be an ideal kitty companion.
Jasper gets a lot of comfort from his brother BANDIT who he would love to be adopted with.

Like all Maggie's pets, Jasper is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be peaceful and calm, with a single person, couple or older family who understand that I don't enjoy being picked up and cuddled. I've already made lots of progress, so I think over time I'll come out of my shell more and more.
I live for breakfast and dinner time - you'll never need to set an alarm as I'm very vocal! - and I reckon hanging out quietly with me while I eat might be a great way to bond.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Low, really - but I'm still a kitten, so I definitely have my zoomy moments!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Because of my sensitive nature, I worry that children might scare me a little.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I totally love other cats! I've been raised with my two kitten brothers, and my foster carers have their own friendly adult cat who can't stop grooming me :) Being around other cats definitely gives me confidence. Oh, and if you're looking for a pair of 'shy guy' kitties to take home and love forever, my brother Bandit is also up for adoption! Here's his profile: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/929616
Though I've not met any dogs at this stage, it's probably safe to say that I wouldn't enjoy living with one.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
