About Oyster
*In foster care in Rozelle, Sydney*
Curious and playful with super-soft fur, Oyster is just about all the way out of his shell! This gorgeous little dude loves playing with his kitten siblings or a feather on a stick, and adores his treats. The quickest way to warm him up and show your love is definitely with rotisserie chicken ;)
Oyster has definite opinions and doesn't always enjoy being held, but he's gradually realising that humans aren’t so bad - especially if you come with yummy food in hand, and lots of gentle pats.
Like all Maggie's pets, Oyster is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will have some space for me to expend my youthful energy, and needs to be secure. Don't worry if you can't find me sometimes - after wearing myself out I can spend hours curled up in a sock drawer!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten! Favourite activities including tearing bits off cardboard boxes and chasing my brothers around the house. I’m still learning how to snuggle, so I enjoy long afternoons on the couch where I can slowly inch my way closer and closer to the human.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Sudden movements and loud noises scare me, so patient older children (of at least school age) will be my best match. I've met a few kids while in foster care and had fun playing with the feather toy.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'd love to live with another cat or two! I haven't met any dogs yet but I'm willing to give it a go.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
