About Sally
Sally is an adorable girl looking for a special, Shepherd experienced and dedicated home, as she will be a project. At heart she seems to be quite breed typical (smart and driven, eager to work for her person, sensitive to change, active and in need of plenty of stimulation),but she has had quite a deprived start to life in terms of socialisation.
Sally would love to live with a resident dog and this will greatly help her confidence build. She has been in foster care in a home with other dogs and benefited greatly from their companionship.
She is worried meeting new people and can alarm bark but warms up quickly and becomes boisterous and snuggly, however she would best suit a mature home where the youngest humans are at least secondary school aged. She seeks out physical contact and uses people and dogs for reassurance. She may benefit from a 'thunder shirt' as deep pressure seems to calm her. She is prone to being vocal-very much like a GSD-especially when she is is very anxious.
