Meet Squirrel!

Brought to the shelter as a stray, Squirrel looked like she had been through the wars, as we discovered, she sort of had! Brought in skinny, matted, and with a broken tail, Madam Squirrel has been getting used to living a more luxurious lifestyle and is finally ready for her forever home.

Squirrel loves when she has her own space but is pretty happy to take over your personal bubble as well. She prefers when people allow her to approach rather than people just going in for cuddles and will reward you by sitting on your lap or napping on your chest. She loathes the presence of other animals so will need to be an only pet and will be better suited to a home without children.

Due to the severity of the breaks in her tail, she had to have some of it amputated; it looks a little comical at the moment, and we promise the fur will grow back (it looks a little similar a frankfurt currently...). We also found to have some pain on her physical examinations and is also receiving ongoing pain relief.
