Move over Mariah, baby diva coming through. Get those other felines outta my space, they're breathing my air and I don't care for it a bit. Sooooo, I get a little grumpy around others of my kind but none are as tiny and cute and gorgeous and as me. I mean look at that little black smudge on my nose and how fabulous do I look in my monochrome? You can't beat the classics, and that's why black and white works a total treat on me. Look, just between you and me I won't go full diva tanty - there's no claws or pawsicuffs, just a little grizzling and growling here and there to let the others know who is the righteous kweeeeeen of the house. That goes for canine characters as well, although if they mind their own business and treat me gentle, then I'm good with it.

Food. I'm obsessed with it. Everyone else's food. The dog's food. Your food. Food food food, mmmmmm yuuuuuum. I love the great outdoors, and a cat proofed backyard would be perfect for me. I might even consider a lead and harness (sparkling with diamantes thank you very much) and going for little walks around the neighbourhood to sniff and see everything. I'm always happier after having a bit of outdoor time.

I don't give my love lightly - I'm more your slow burn type of girl. Quietly affectionate, I'm sure you'll want to pick me up a hundred times a day because I'm a cute little sweetheart but I'll squawk when I've had enough. But when it comes to snuggling up next to you on the couch and watching some Netflix, I'm right there with you baby. Shall we do this thing - you and me? I'm ready to come home to your quiet, peaceful place right now!

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from Cat People of Melbourne. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
