About Mollie
Mollie is here to show you that age is just a number! This lovely girl is active and likes to get out and about. Playing fetch is Mollie’s favourite thing in the world by far! She’ll fetch balls, she’ll fetch sticks, she’ll fetch in the yard, she’ll fetch in the park…yep, Mollie will fetch just about anything, just about anywhere!
This sensible girl is used to life in the quieter suburbs where the pace is a little slower. Mollie would love to go on daily walks where the two of you can explore parks, fields, beaches, or hiking trails. Being the intelligent well-mannered dog that she is Mollie is used to off-leash adventures and has excellent recall skills.
Mollie is quietly affectionate rather than a lapdog and is happy just to know you’re close by. This sweetheart will gently nuzzle your hand when she wants a pat but is mainly content to sleep at your feet while you do your thing.
During the day Mollie is used to spending some time at home alone. As long as she balances her chill time with getting out and about, Mollie is happy to sunbake in the garden or sleep on her bed while you’re out. Mollie is a darling and sleeps indoors in her bed through the night.
When visitors are approaching Mollie will bark to let you know. She is a clever girl, and once you thank her for her ‘guard dog’ work, she will congratulate herself on a job well done and calm down.
Like many intelligent dogs, Mollie can be a little sensitive too. She is quite scared of fireworks and thunder so would love to come inside where it’s safe when there are storms around. The other thing Mollie is afraid of, promise you won’t laugh, is the sound of people blowing raspberries. Mollie is actually scared of her own farts for this very reason. Hey! You promised you wouldn’t laugh!
In her younger years, Mollie shared her home with another doggo. Quite a few years have passed since then and Mollie would be happy to continue living solo. Similarly, while Mollie is great with the two children she already knows and loves, she is hesitant around unfamiliar small humans and would be happiest in a household with adults or older kids. Mollie has never lived with a cat before but she appears to have a low prey drive and may just make a good cat companion!
Medical notes
Despite her years Mollie is as fit as a fiddle!
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
