About Inky
Inky is a beautiful 6 year old male Miniature Poodle who weights 5.9kg. He is all about the love and lives for close relationship with his humans. Inky desires above all else to be close to you. This boy is a cuddling machine, who is looking for owners that have plenty of time for serious snuggling. He will best suit an owner looking for a super affectionate companion dog that will stick to them like glue as long as they both shall live!!!!
Inky is toilet trained, well behaved inside, travels well in the car, is good to groom and good at the Vets. He has a non shedding coat that is suitable for people with allergies. He is an active boy who absolutely loves his walkies and is happy to socialize with the other dogs. He would be suitable as either an only dog or as a second dog.
Inky was surrendered as his owner could no longer take care of him. He is looking for a home where his family can provide the following:
Owners who want an inside dog that will have full access to the house and be allowed up on the lounge for cuddling.
Owners who are home a lot as he needs to spend lots of time with his humans.
A daily walk of at least 40minutes.
Taken to the grooming salon for a clip every 8 weeks during his entire life.
Teddy is happiest when in your arms.
If you are that special sort of dog owner that makes their "fur baby" a priority and significant part of your daily life then Teddy is hoping to hear from you. He was still available for adoption as at 16th Sept 2022.
If you would like to make application to adopt Inky, please complete the question listed in the section below titled "Adoption Process".
Medical notes
Inky currently has some diarrhea which he is receiving medication for and will hopefully clear up in the next few days. Otherwise he is in very good health and has just undergone a "Dental" - Teeth cleaned under anesthetic

I look forward to receiving your application. Here is a description of the Adoption process after applications are received:
1. After carefully reviewing applications, I will make a shortlist of 2-3 applicants who best match the dogs needs. Only these applicants will be contacted for further information. I often receive numerous applications for any one dog(especially if it’s young and healthy) so contacting everyone is just not viable.
2. Those shortlisted applicants will then be contacted no later than two weeks from the date of application. If you have not been contacted by the two week mark, then assume that you have not been shortlisted.
3. Shortlisted applicants will be asked to provide a Vet and Grooming reference. This means that with the applicants permission I will contact their Vet and Groomer(if they have used one) to see how well they have looked after any current or past dogs.
4. I then conduct viewings with the few applicants that have excellent references to see if they like the dog and visa versa. This is usually around 1-3 potential families.
5. Once I have chosen an applicant, I conduct a “Fence Check” to ensure that the property is secure. If both parties are comfortable to proceed then adoption takes place. There is a two week trial period where adoptive parents can return the dog and receive a full refund if it doesn’t work out.
6. Dogs are adopted with the following : Current Vaccination Certificate, Sterilisation Certificate, Microchip Details.
7. My adoption process is very thorough as I am committed to finding the very best home that suits each dogs needs and quirks. Rest assured I’m doing the very best I can to make excellent decisions. If you miss out on a dog, I keep all applications in the hope that another suitable dog will become available soon.
This process may seem like over kill, but many surrendered dogs have often come from a less than ideal situation, and it’s my responsibility to do everything in my power to ensure that their future is absolutely fantastic!!!
Have a great day
