About Bernie
Bernie, the doggo with the gorgeous golden locks, is just one big smiling face waiting to overload you with lots of love. This country lad is a bundle of joy and knows how to have fun in life. Chasing butterflies is his favourite game!
Young and good-looking as he is, Bernie is bursting with puppy antics and playfulness. He’s highly intelligent and full of beans, and loves to burn his energy playing outside. He knows the way to the dam and back - so don’t be surprised by a wet pup on your doorstep. He’s a born swimmer.
Bernie also loves climbing on rocks, playing tug of war with his rope toy, or going for rides in the back of the ute. At the end of the night, he wouldn’t mind curling up with you while you catch up on all your favourite TV shows. He always tries to be involved in anything you do.
He’s toilet trained and spends his nights in the outside kennel. Life is exciting, and Bernie has a lot of love for the world. His excitement will be great with older, bigger kids, so they can play together.
Bernie has not been exposed to cats or other small pets. He’s used to livestock, such as goats, sheep, cows and horses. No chickens or lambs, please! Growing up with trucks, tractors, and noises makes Bernie the ideal farm dog. As comfortable as he is, this guy is not afraid to jump into familiar cars for a joyride.
This young lad is looking for an owner who will spend the time helping him reach his full potential, focusing on lead training, and learning to contain his excitement when greeting visitors to the house. As Bernie is happy to enjoy his own adventures, his new home should have a tall and secure fenced yard.

When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
