About Opal
Hi I’m Opal, l arrived into care with my babies from a regional pound, I am so thankful for this chance at a new life.
I have the most sweet and gentle temperament. Once i am comfortable with you, I will adore being in the same room with you and coming for pats and affection. I can get quite vocal with my crying if i am feeling lonely.
I would much prefer a quiet home with either a single person or couple. I wouldn’t be suited to a home with small children or any who would have trouble reading my body language on when to give me space.
I am not tested with other cats other than my own babies. As i can be scared of loud noises and anything quick moving i would need very slow introduction to any other cats in the home. I am untested with dogs at this point.
With that said, I am affectionate and loving, after I am given time to settle down. I have started to make myself available for pats and scratches, and purr like crazy.
Once I feel safe with you, I will be the best companion you can think of! Loving, sweet and with an amazing personality. I love playing with toys, the ones on the string are my absolute favourite.
I am consistent with my litter and have no issues.
If you are considering to adopt me, please note that it may take several weeks for me to really settle down and be comfortable. But I promise, I am worth every minute!

Please ensure all corresponding documentation, such as vet work for existing animals & lease agreements are provided with the completed application to avoid any delays
Applications are not approved on a first in, best dressed basis, rather we will assess on your suitability. Should we believe that the animal you have applied for may not suit your home or lifestyle, we will work with you until we find your perfect match.
Upon approval of your application, we will pass your contact details onto the carer and they will liaise with you to arrange a meet & handover. Prior to the handover, an adoption contract will be emailed to you along with copies of vet work & our bank details. The signed adoption agreement & payment of the adoption fee is required prior to the animal leaving with you. We offer a two-week trial period, and the full adoption fee, minus an administration fee will be refundable if the adoption is cancelled within those two weeks.
At the end of the two week adoption trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
