Petey is a lively, happy boy who just adores attention and getting pats. He is a typical young dog and when he's getting fuss he can get a little over excited and jump up, typically for his age, but he will learn manners as he matures. He benefits from a good walk every day. Petey is easy to walk, great in the car, seems quite happy in new situations, non destructive if left at home for a few hours, and generally obedient. He can get a bit jealous of his humans with his carer's other dog, so needs a home where he is rewarded with affection when he's being good and not when he demands attention. He is dog social and a home with another dog would be good, but the dog would need to be confident and a bit patient with young Petey! He is untested with cats although he did meet some young kittens recently and was fine with them, so potentially could share a home with a cat. He is house trained and enjoys being around his people indoors. Petey does have his nervous moments when he startles at something, but returns to his happy self with a pat. Petey would be best in a household without young children as he is unsure of their energy and noise so better not to place him with them.

Overall lovely Petey is a great dog and should mature into a ideal companion for an active and loving home.

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership fee), flea and worm treatment and sterilisation.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
