Cupid, as his name suggests, is a lover not a fighter. Such a cool dude, and very loving with his foster family (youngest child is 9). Cupid just wants to be where his family are, and will follow you around everywhere. That is, until he gets tired, and then you will find him curled up on a cushion near the fire. He loves to play with his carers' dog, and is good with older children but tends to stand back if they are too noisy, so very young kids may be a bit too full on for him.
Cupid was a little jumpy initially when excited, but quickly learnt that this isn't good manners. His recall is good, will wait to be called inside, knows sit and is getting better at waiting for his dinner. He aims to please his people, and so learns new things really easily.
Cupid won't suit a home with free ranging chooks and is untested with cats/other pets. He will need secure fencing as he has been known to try his luck with squeezing under a fence.
This gorgeous boy is just made for family life and will suit owners who spend a lot of time at home - long days on his own won't suit this social butterfly.
If you have an active, inclusive home for beautiful Cupid, he will make the most loyal new family addition.
MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, flea and worm treatment, sterilisation and microchipping (includes transfer of ownership). His fee does not include heartworm treatment.
ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process includes a meet and greet, (including your dog if applicable), photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us, and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.
Our adoption paperwork and payment is emailed to the successful applicant and processed electronically. All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before the dog leaves our care (we cannot accept cash). Please ask if you have any questions.
After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the dog's vet records.
