Nala and Lottie

There is a very special and unique relationship developing between two of our rescue felines which we would love to share.

Our followers will have seen Lottie our beautiful tortoiseshell girl who has been looking for her forever home for some time now. However, you are yet to meet Nala, a very cheeky and mischievous five-month-old.

We need to point out that Lottie and Nala were perfect strangers before being placed in the same foster home. Nala had developed a bit of a naughty habit which her diligent carers were working on improving. Lottie observed what was unfolding and took it upon herself to teach Nala some “kitty manners”. Firstly, she showed Nala how to play nicely and if Nala was too rough Lottie would start grooming her (sometimes quite forcefully) as if to correct the behaviour. With boundaries established Lottie and Nala are like peas in a pod. They groom each other, curl up together to sleep and genuinely enjoy each other’s company.

Despite their age difference and completely different backgrounds, they share one thing in common and that is that they do not have a permanent home. Lottie and Nala have found comfort in each other, and their relationship is one of pure love.

We are really hoping there is an extra special person out there who would like to adopt both Lottie and Nala and watch their relationship continue to blossom.

The girls are suited to a family of grown-ups only.

Lottie is 6 years old and has been Vet checked, Desexed, Vaccinated, Microchipped: 956000011311881 and is up to date with Worm & Flea Treatment.

Nala is 5 months old and has been Vet checked, Desexed, Vaccinated, Microchipped: 956000014985932 and is up to date with Worm & Flea Treatment.

The adoption fee for both girls is $260.

** Ollie's Legacy is located in Bendigo, Central Victoria (approx 1.5 hours from Melbourne CBD)
** We are unable to place holds on our animals. This means that you are unable to adopt your new family member within 7 days, please do not apply until you are ready.
** The majority of our correspondence is through email. We have a very small team of volunteers and it is impossible to contact everyone via phone calls.
