About Tillie
Tillie is a gorgeous and young dog who is now out of puppy stage but with her whole life ahead of her. She has a stunning tri-coloured coat and is a nice medium sized dog. Tillie is very social with people and happily greets new people, visitors to the home and friends.
She is a very affectionate dog and will lean on you for pats. Tillie is a great companion to join you on your trips out and about. She will accompany you to the local café, is great in the car and loves to go to the park. When its playtime, Tillie enjoys playing with toys and thoroughly enjoys a good game of tug of war. Overall, she is a curious and friendly girl with lots of love to give.
In her current home, Tillie attends the local dog park daily where she loves to stretch her legs and is sociable with dogs of all sizes. Stealing other dog’s balls at the park is something she enjoys doing but this is something that she should be discouraged from doing by her new owner. Tillie is friendly and happy to meet other dogs she passes when walking on lead or at the café. At the moment, she lives with another working breed dog and does display some low level and infrequent resource guarding with toys and food towards the other dog. Considering this, she may be best suited to living as an only dog; however, in the right environment where there is structure and guidance from an experienced handler she should not have an issue living harmoniously with another dog.
Tillie is an energetic dog who requires daily exercise. She would strongly benefit from mental stimulation and enrichment activities where her mind can be put to good use. Tillie is very intelligent and thrives off training. The main reason her owners are looking to rehome Tillie is that they feel they are not meeting her mental needs. This is resulting in her not settling at home and sometimes engaging in destructive behaviours such as digging and chewing. She can be a little cautious in new environments, but once she feels comfortable she is very happy and enjoys going on lots of adventures.
We are looking for a working dog experienced home with someone home most of the time to help her transition into her new home. She is not suited to inner city living and needs a house with a yard. She is very food motivated so this will help her new family continue her training. She is currently living with children and is very friendly with them, but we are looking for an adult only home so the focus can be put on her. She should be a mostly inside dog with access to a yard and a comfy, warm bed to sleep on inside of a night.
Tillie has so much potential and she is going to make an amazing family member to someone looking for a working dog to work alongside and bring out Tilley’s full potential. If you are interested in making her a part of your family, please fill in an application form and detail your prior working dog experience and what sort of lifestyle Tillie would look forward to having with you.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
