💙 Meet Missy Blu 💙

Who remembers the poor girl that was tied up at Mangrove Mountain? Members of the public reported she had been there for 3 days. She was scared, hungry and confused and didn’t want anyone going near her.
A wonderful member of our community was able to get this beautiful girl and bring her to SoCares.

It took Missy Blu a few days to warm up to people, which is understandable after what she had been through.
She learnt that there was people she could trust and that she was safe and slowly started showing us her true happy self.

We never want Missy Blu to feel let down by humans ever again.

Missy Blu is certainly one happy gal now!

Her face lights up as soon as she sees you and her butt starts to wiggle and she can’t wait to give you a cuddle!

Missy Blu loves her food, and will sit and shake when asked.

Some of Missy Blu’s favourite things to do are playing tug o war with you and a plush toy and going on long walks.

Missy Blu hasn’t been around other dogs before and doesn’t quite understand that they don’t all want their ears cleaned out and faces constantly licked 🤣🤣
Missy Blu doesn’t understand boundaries when it comes to dogs and does need some on going training in this area and why we believe Missy Blu should be in an only dog home for now.

When it comes to felines she has shown no interested in them. The only time she reacted was when a cat hissed at her and she jumped backwards.

Type of Household: Missy Blu needs a home where she feels nothing but love and understanding. She needs an owner who is going to be patient with her and give her time to adjust and settle as well as build up her confidence. She is not suited to a house with children. Breed experience is preferred.
