Missy has had a rough start to her rehoming journey. shortly after coming into foster care from a high kill rural pound we came to a scary realisation that she had a large mass located on her abdomen that had been growing unnoticed for what we know to be at least 4 years. After lots of vet checks and finally a surgery we were beyond happy to find out IT WASN’T CANCER!

So now Missy is a happy, calm, food loving, gorgeous young lady who is finally living without the discomfort of a massive mammary tumour.

During recovery Missy’s favourite activity was laying in the sunshine in the comfort of a gaming chair which she has claimed as her own. As she’s still currently a bit sore she’s spending more time just relaxing, but don’t be fooled, she loves her toys especially anything to do with a string. Once she’s taken her time to settle in to her new forever home I have no doubts she will turn into the perfect indoor companion.

Missy has lived her whole life with a gentle dog companion and is not overly fussed by other felines, though doesn’t love their company. She’d make a wonderful companion for someone who just wants the one pet.

Missy is looking for an indoor only home (access to a secure outdoor cat enclosure is fine).
