About Tam
Introducing Tam the Toy Poodle born 7th January 2016.
Tam is a sweet, very timid babe. She hasn't had much interaction with humans, so she is very shy with new people. Because of this we are recommending she go to a home with no young children. Her new owners will need to be patient with her while she learns to trust humans.
Tam gets along great with other small dogs, so much so that she starts to come out of her shell when around them. You can see that she wants to trust and love, she's just scared. Because she loves dogs so much she will need to have another dog at home with her. She has already formed a bond with Tim and can either be adopted as a bonded pair or individually.
Tam didn't like the cats or pocket pets at the facility, so she will need a home without cats, rabbits/guinea pigs or chickens.
Tam does show mild signs of separation anxiety, even when she's with another dog, so she will need to have an owner who is able to be with him most of the time.
Tam is such a sweet girl who wants nothing more than a home she can call her own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Tam, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Her adoption fee is $1250, and this includes a full dental, desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. She is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Tam is currently located in East Maitland.
Medical notes
Tam has had a full dental while in care.
Tam has a very mild luxating patella. She may need further treatment in the future, but nothing is needed at this time.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
