PERSONALITY
Are you looking for a handsome boy who will give all the love in the world to his lucky family? Well, you are looking right at him! I am Tomo and I can't wait for my new family to sweep me off to my new home. You only need to look into my eyes to know that I am a gentle, sensitive boy and love to snuggle into you to show you how adorable I am. I will melt your heart and make you so proud of me.
I am currently in foster care with a family with another large breed doggo. I have overheard my foster family say that I am a super sweet and smart pupstar and that my favourite thing is to cuddle on the couch with my foster mum at night.
As I am still a baby, I am working hard on my toilet training and basic commands and have been told I am a good boy. I am always up for a walk and am learning very quickly what to do as I am a fast learner – yep, I am a smarty pants! I even became a celebrity at a pet store open day and had a blast meeting families and other doggies.
And, have you ever met a pup before that likes to chat to himself? Well, you are looking right at him!! I love rope toys and stuffed toys to play with.
As I am a gentle boy, I would thrive with another doggy friend for company, and if you have older children I would really love to meet them too.
Yes, I will be a big boy but don’t let that put you off – there is so much more of me to cuddle and share around.
I know that my VERY lucky family is out there just waiting to meet me and every day I hope that they will come along and bring me home.
My name is Tomo (nice and easy to remember), and I am waiting for YOU!! xx
Basic needs in Tomo's new home:-
MUST go to a home with a younger medium/large gentle friendly well-adjusted canine friend who will be a good role model for him and who can romp and play with him.
Tomo must be allowed inside at all times and be permitted to sleep inside in a warm area at night and cuddle on the couch.
We are looking for adopters who are looking for a dog to truly be part of the family, access inside, daily adventures and exercise, mental stimulation, supervised socialisation with other dogs and people outside of the home, force-free training, and of course lots of love and attention! So a home where adopters are not away from home for long periods and have the time for continued training is a must.
It’s also super important that adoptive families are committed to ongoing consistent training really for the first 18 months and beyond is also very important. Tomo will grow into a large breed boy so it is very important that he grows into an awesome doggy citizen and an advocate for rescued dogs.
If you would like to meet Tomo please email us at sasrescue@gmail.com with as much detail as possible on yourself and the home you are able to provide including your location, contact number, your other dog/pets, family members, lifestyle, exercise, and mental stimulation you will provide, how often Tomo would be alone, where he will have access in the home, where Tomo would go if you went away and could not take him with you, ability to cover vet expenses and any other information you wish to provide. If you would like to meet Tomo please don't forget to email us at sasrescue@gmail.com with the information requested at the top of this profile
