About Flore
It's time for little Flore, a Jack Russell mix to find her forever family home.
She's in foster care with 2 whippets, an old corgi x and a cat who interacts well with her, in fact they quite like to sniff and play together for short periods. She loves the cat and whilst fine with the other dogs, we're only looking for a home where she'll be the only dog.
Flore loves human interaction and loves nothing better than cuddling in closely beside you on the chair or sofa. She loves playing with cuddly toys and to roam around independently in the back garden. She confidently uses a doggy door.
Flore is in the process of leash training with her foster carer and is coming along slowly but surely. She is also beginning to understand basic commands. She is treat motivated so will be easy to continue her training. She greets you excitedly each morning with lots of tail wagging - she is just so happy to see you her face lights up.
She is toilet trained, sleeps through the night and has learnt while in foster care to sit and wait for her food which she loves.
Flore would suit a home as an only dog as she just likes to be yours alone. A home where someone is home more often than not would be ideal. She should be allowed inside to be with her family and have access to a secure back garden. She will also require a comfy bed to sleep in at night.
We're looking for an experienced, adult only home with no kids around. She'd love some activity & adventure in her life, and at only 2 years, she's still an active girl who will thrive with enrichment. She'd happily live with a cat too.
Flore is still a little unsure meeting new dogs and people and can get over excited but calms down when she feels comfortable.
If you would like to welcome this gorgeous, active little girl into your family let us know by filling out an adoption form on the Fetching Dogs website.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
