About McLaren
Just like his name, McLaren is sleek, gorgeous and fast!
Smart and energetic, he loves to be outside exploring and playing with balls, soft toys, kong wobblers and lick mats. He really just loves to play, loves to dig and chew!
Initially timid on first meet, curious and then bold once comfortable, McLaren is also the ultimate snuggle bug. He adores affection and cuddles from his humans and can easily turn into a velcro dog if you let him! Still learning that alone time is ok, he's doing well with toys to keep him occupied. After a big day of play with the other dogs, he wants to climb up on you and snuggle into you for a nap. Still a puppy, he does jump a lot, so older, dog savvy children would be best.
Highly food motivated, so ongoing training will be easier and he is already crate trained, house trained, can sit and is confident walking with a harness. To keep his brain stimulated, ongoing training and development is a must and he would thrive with advanced training techniques and quality enrichment.
As a working breed mix, McLaren will require a home that is active & adventurous (is showing a love for water), preferably has working breed experience and understands the concept of quality mental & physical stimulation and has the capacity to supply it. It's not enough that you go walking each day.
He'd do best with another friendly, older and playful dog at home to show him the ropes and instill good doggy manners. He must be able to come inside for cuddles and night time sleeping.
He’s a very sweet, smoochy dog that would suit an active family that will treat him as a valued family member and include him in their life.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
