About Melody & Lyric
Melody and Lyric are very sweet girls who had a sad start to life, living out of rubbish bins at a scrap metal yard. They were rescued when their entire stray cat colony was trapped and brought into care. Melody (silver tabby) and Lyric (grey) were both very timid to begin with as they had never had human contact before but they have done very well in foster care and they are ready to find their forever home.
Lyric and Melody have discovered the joys of bopping balls around the room and have even started coming and asking for pats and head sctratches.
The girls have been exploring the house and running around chasing toys and playing in the evening.
Lyric has come to enjoy affection while Melody will accept them but she's still a little socially awkward.
Both are still learning to communicate with humans. They dont meow much but make cute little chirping sounds when they play. Melody sometimes hisses quietly when she is frightened but her vocabulary will improve as she grows more confident. Both girls can be handled but they prefer not to be picked up for too long.
These beautiful girls would like to stay together as they support each other and love to play and snuggle together. They would prefer an adults only home, with someone who will give the time and affection they need to feel safe and settled. They might need a safe place to run to when there are unexpected noises or sudden movements while they are settling into their new home.
Do you have a quiet home and a big heart to share with Melody and Lyric? These beautiful girls will reward you with low maintenance companionship and big happy purrs!
Both girls are litter trained, desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, and flea treated.
Please send us a message and tell us all about your lovely home. We cant wait to meet their forever family!
