Beautiful Baila is ready to find her new forever family.
She is such a sweet soul and a dream to hang out with.
Baila came into care a little scared and unsure. Her confidence has since grown immensely. She loves seeing people and cuddling up to them. She can get a little excited and will jump up but she is just so gentle. Occasionally she will still get scared of people that she doesn't see coming, and will react by barking at them, to protect herself. With gentle coaxing, she settles down quickly. Any children should be dog savvy.
Baila starts her day with a 30 minute walk, and is what she looks forward to most. She loves being out and about. She can pull a little in excitement, but this is helped by putting a harness on her.
She stays by herself during the day whilst her carer is at work, completely non destructive, and will sleep the day away until her family get home.
She often hangs out with a large male dog for company, and is happiest just chilling with him on the couch. Baila has great manners meeting new dogs and would love to continue her socialisation. She has had basic obedience training, and such a smart girl, this can be further developed.
Baila is also currently living with 2 cats. When you're around, she is on her best behaviour around them. When she thinks you're not looking, she will give chase. Any cats should be confident, but slow and careful introduction should help them make friends quickly.
Baila would also love hanging out with her family on outings. She doesn't need to be asked twice to jump in the car! She'll even sit quietly while you wash and dry her!
We are currently toilet training Baila, and she is improving. Crate training will further assist with this. A dog door would be ideal for her.
Baila is a gem to have around. We are seeking a home for her where she will be loved and cherished, and she will return this with affection two fold. Ideally, she will have a lot of company, either human or canine, but she can adapt if not always possible.
