Remington’s life has had an incredible turnaround. Having been born and spending his early kitten life living behind a dumpster in Dandenong, Remington has learned to love all the comforts a home can offer.

This beautiful black, smoke and white medium-haired boy has literally gone from rags to riches. But what he needs now is a fairytale ending that will see him living happily ever after.

Because Remington spent his formative months on the streets, this boy has taken a while to trust people. He can still be a bit skittish when meeting new people - but give him the gift of time and patience and this boy will show you how purry and affectionate he can be.

Remington loves to get up on the bed for extended morning cuddles. He will give you little headbutts and kitten kisses while his loud kitten purr machine runs the entire time. He will roll around while you pat him and he will even let you stroke his tummy a couple of time – if you’re quick!

Remington finds peoples' height a bit scary, but if you’re sitting on the lounge he will jump up to be with you - and fall asleep on you lap as you give him gentle pats. He loves his cheeks and ears scratched, and he will expend his chin right out when you give him a gentle chin scratch.

Remington is obsessed with other cats, so he needs a home where he will have an older cat for company. He will be your cat’s best friend as he is not a dominant kitty and he is willing to fit in with the cat hierarchy easily. He is terrified of dogs, so no dogs please.

Your first meeting with Remington will be tricky, as he will be fearful of you and likely want to watch you from a safe distance. But, if you take a chance on this boy, give him the time and patience he needs, he will give you his whole heart.

We are offering a two-week trial with Remington to the right home.

Remington has excellent house manners, is litter trained and is not a fussy eater (a legacy of his rough past we think). He keeps his lush coat very clean and has the cutes little white moustache on his lip. We know Remington loves his new life as a house kitten and want only the brightest future for this adorable little guy.
