Sprinkles.

Sprinkles was a stray that showed up in a cat hater’s backyard and they wanted to call pest control to get rid of her.

She was very young only about 5 months old.

Her rescuer decided to trap her.
However 2 days later, she had 2 surprise kittens even though she didn’t look pregnant at all.

Once the kittens were of age, they went to the other rescues and we found a patient and gentle foster carer for Sprinkles who got her to where she is now.

At the start she was one of the wildest cats that most of people have ever encountered, never has any interacted with a human, very protective of her babies, but was a very good mum.
With lots of love, time and patience. She is now, who loves a good back scratch, and will wait patiently at the door for some affection.

We think there was some trauma with her when she was a kitten herself as she was extremely afraid to get her head scratched.

She is slowly learning to trust humans and their little human. She is very curious and has to be in the same room as everyone. She doesn’t mind visitors or new people as long as they look but don’t touch 🤩. She loves dry food. Loves to be high up so a cat tree is a must!

With proper introduction, she has potential to get along with other cats. Sprinkles has a clean bill of health.

She is much friendlier now and got along with the foster carer’s resident cat.

However, the foster carer was unable to foster her any longer.

We all had faith she could turn around from a flying monkey cat, into a sweet little pet cat, but nobody expected her to turn into such a perfect little girl.

She’s been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and deflea/ deworm up to date.
