Kirkby (tabby/torti/white) and Ainsty (tabby) are two lovely young girls who have seen all their friends/extended family find homes and are feeling a bit sad about being left behind.

'Long-termer' is a bit of a non-specific term. These girls have been in care for just over 3 months which, in the grand scheme of things, isn't all that long.
But, it's almost half their lives 😥
Instead of being in new homes, creating happy memories, they've been stuck here just waiting.

Kirkby and Ainsty aren't sisters - we think they're cousins. They are very comfortable together but get on with other cats well too. So they could be adopted as a pair or could go separately to homes with other cats.

They are still somewhat skittish but they are full of potential.
Both girls are active, playful and full of zest for life.
They enjoy being stroked and love toys of every shape and size.
They are both very small/petite cats, especially Kirkby.
She is now around 7 months old and Ainsty is 8 months old.

Their siblings who have all been adopted already, are thriving in their new homes and have all adapted very well to home life so we know these girls can too.

They need some patience and TLC but will be so rewarding.

They are desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.

We have a selection of feline friends in care at the moment who are over-looked and forgotten. ❤️
They all have dreams of being ⭐chosen ⭐
They crave (and deserve) a loving home as much as any other.

This month we're on a mission to rehome as many of our Special Case kitties as we can!

With a new kitten season already upon us even though the last one never really ended... now more than ever we want to rehome these kitties before we are swamped with the cute babies who get all the attention.

All Special Case kitties are available to adopt for the donation of your choice.
Some are looking for Forever-Foster placements, meaning their ongoing vet bills will be covered by SAFE too!

Please note that these kitties have wildly different considerations! Most only require a minimal amount of extra care. If you think you can accommodate any kind of special kitty, we would LOVE to hear from you.
