About Rupert
Longer term resident - adoption fee reduced to $15
Rupert is a lovely gentleman who is searching for a fur-ever home where he can spend his days lounging in the sun and enjoying the company of his humans. Rupert is more of an independent man so will be best suited to a home without children and no other cats. Rupert does have a low grade heart murmur, please don't let that deter you. Being a low grade heart murmur this means it is very mild, does not require any medication and is not affecting him in any way. Rupert has previously had Cat Flu. Although this condition usually resolves without complications, in some instances the cat may remain a carrier of this disease and the disease may recur in the future. Although Rupert has a clean bill of health, he is a little older and may soon require veterinary treatment for diseases of old age such as arthritis and heart disease. Please don't be put off by Rupert's age because, with the right care, he has many more years ahead of him.
