Hi! I'm Gub and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.

NOTE: You are unable to meet Gub until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Gub in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• I can be hit & miss when meeting other dogs so I will be just as happy being the only doggo in the home as long as I be given more socialisation with lots of other dogs.
• NO CATS as I think they are fun to chase.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent) is a MUST
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• A family who promise to keep me well groomed and brush me regularly so I'm always looking and feeling my best
• Lots of love and attention
• I suffer with separation anxiety and so MUST go to a home where I will be allowed to be inside and sleep inside with my family
• No young children as when I'm excited I get very bouncy, older children who will be involved with my training should be ok.
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Small children due to being mouthy & bouncy, older children who will be involved with my training should be ok
• Cats or small animals and fowl as I find them fun to chase

My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• I can sit on command
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• I walk well on lead, but can a bit jumpy when excited
• I am clever and eager to learn so would love a family who will teach me some cool tricks.
• Exuberant & full of beans

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I can be a bit bouncy -training should stop this
• I may be scared of thunder & fireworks. I will require a safe space to retreat to during these events as well as comfort and reassurance from my family.
