Meet Molly & Oscar - a super adorable pair of pooches on the hunt for their new forever home. Molly is a 10-year-old Shih Tzu, and Oscar is an 8yr Old Shih Tzu.

Molly is a gentle girl who seeks affection but also enjoys lazing in the sun in the morning and having a little time to herself. Oscar is a bit more active, learning to play with his toys and seeks more attention and affection from his carer.

They are inside dogs and toilet trained, so will best suit a home where they can spend most of their time inside, though they do enjoy spending time exploring the garden. They also enjoy going for a walk and are easy to manage together, they come when called, know how to sit, and are learning to stay.

They both love to snuggle on the lounge next to you, so if you are looking for company and affection this pair are a good fit. Molly just likes to be close while Oscar likes a belly rub.

Oscar is not sure of thunderstorms and just requires a bit of extra comfort but will settle and hide under his blanket. They do need to be separated when eating as Oscar is learning some manners around mealtimes that match his and Molly’s manners the rest of the time.

Molly and Oscar would suit a couple, or a single person and they have enjoyed the extra attention from their foster carers adult children. They will stay on their own for short periods but would prefer a home where they have company most of the time.

Oscar and Molly are booked for desexing and vaccination in September and will be available to go to their new home shortly after. We are inviting expressions of interest at this stage, with the official process to be completed after they have recovered.

Molly and Oscar’s adoption fee is $750 which includes all up to date vet work. This includes desexing, vaccination, and they are treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
