About George
George is the kind of dog who makes you feel at home the moment you meet him. With his gorgeous white coat, gentle eyes, and easygoing nature, he's got that calm, comforting presence that’s hard to resist.
He’s a friendly, happy boy who loves being around people and other dogs. George is food-motivated (read: treat enthusiast!) and loves to learn, making him easy to train and eager to please. He has great recall and is quick to pick up new cues when snacks are involved.
George does have knee issues, so he’s best suited to controlled, on-lead walks most of the time—but don’t worry, he still enjoys a good run at the beach now and then! With a little care and consistency, he’s able to stay active and happy.
He’s been patiently waiting in foster care for quite a while now, but George hasn’t lost an ounce of his charm. He’s ready for someone who’ll appreciate his loyalty, gentle nature, and the comfort of a dog who just gets you.
If you're after a calm, loving companion who fits seamlessly into your life (and maybe your couch), George is ready to meet you.

I CAN FLY TO PERTH!
Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to Perth.
4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:
1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.
2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.
3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.
4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.
NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.
*Puppies may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
