Based on his weight we feel he will be of med size

Mexicana is a sweet little boy who loves human attention and snuggles, but also loves to run super fast with the other dogs in the house. Mexicana has no mouthy behaviours
Food
Mexicana is currently eating three meals a day of premium dry food. Mexicana shows no signs of food aggression at all. For training I use boiled chicken cut into small pieces.
Traveling in the Car
Mexicana loves to relax in the car . We have been taking him on the occasional short car trip every couple of days. As Mexicana is a puppy I would encourage his new family to continue taking him out for car trips and always using the proper restraints.
Visitors
Mexicana is always up to meeting new people and gets excited when he sees people. Mexicana is always up for a cuddle, but would much prefer your visitors to play with him on the floor with his toys.
Enrichment
Mexicana loves running around the backyard with the other dogs and chasing each other trying to steal toys, he also loves to play fetch, tug of war, dig in the sandpit and he is always up for a splash in water. Mexicana loves to chase the water from the hose.
Walks-Lead Experience
Mexicana has been practising walking on a lead in the front yard and is not fussed by the lead at all. He loves exploring the front and watching other dogs and people walk past. Mexicana will need to have further lead training and it will be important that his family continue walking him everyday.
Obedience
Mexicana is a smart boy and will sit when asked, he has mastered how to use a doggy door. Mexicana will need to attend puppy school to further his training and for socialisation.
Inside
Mexicana is great inside and has not been chewing on things that he shouldn't.
Dog socialisation, cats and other small animals
Mexicana is currently living in a house with 3 siblings and 4 other dogs . These dogs are all different breeds, ages, and heights. Mexicana has no issues playing with all the dogs.
As Mexicana is a puppy he will be fine in a home with a cat, however your cat must be puppy savvy.
Sleeping
Mexicana has been sleeping in his crate with the door open with his siblings. Mexicana is a great sleeper and once asleep for the night he will sleep through until morning. Mexicana tends to go to bed at 9pm and not wake up until 7am.
Toilet Training
Mexicana has not had any accidents inside lately but in a new home we would expect him to have a few accidents until he is comfortable with his surroundings . I would suggest taking him outside after he wakes up and also after eating.
Adoption Requirements for Mexicana
-Large area or acreage with grass for him to run and play on, secure fences and shelter is a must
- Ongoing puppy school to help further his training and for socialisation
-Daily walks are a must (shorts walks while he is still a puppy)
-If you have a dog they must be female. The current resident dog must be of a temperament that can adapt to puppy development, and she must be well socialised with other dogs (do not apply if your dog has not been socialised recently)
-New family must understand that puppies take time to settle and all things puppy, including crying, chewing and training is a must.)
- Mexicana must be able to sleep inside
Mexicana is of working breed so will require ongoing stimulation as he matures
