Hello friends, my name is Lucy and I am nearly two years old. I am a docile darling that loves all the people I come across. My Foster Family describes me as confident, loyal, curious and energetic and says I am a pup that loves to please. I love to be near my humans but can be left alone for short periods too. I would suit a family that has older kids or teens as I have energy to burn and can sometimes be a bit jumpy. I love to go for walks by the river and would really love to explore the beach in the summer. I am learning the 'heel' command at the moment but also have some more training to do. I am food motivated though, which of course helps tremendously with ongoing training. I do need a very secure yard, as I have been known to dig under unsecured fences. I promise I didn't go far; my curiosity just got the better of me. I love other dogs almost as much as I love people and am very gentle with small puppies. Perhaps a house with another doggo would be good so that we could hang out during the day. I think I would like that, and it might help curb my curiosity.
