Izzy is a strong, handsome boy with a gentle heart who thrives on one-on-one attention, cuddles, and plenty of love. Once he feels safe, he enjoys sitting beside (or on!) his humans, happily soaking up pats, chin scratches, and even the occasional belly rub.

He’s looking for a calm, patient home where he can take his time settling in. Izzy can be easily startled, so a quiet environment with slow movements and minimal noise will help him feel secure. It has taken him a few months to fully relax in his foster home, but with patience and understanding, he blossoms into a very affectionate companion.

Izzy is best suited to an indoor-only home, which he’s very comfortable with (he hasn’t shown interest in exploring outside, even in a catio). He would do best in a one- or two-adult household without children, as busy environments can be overwhelming for him. Izzy would love a friendly feline companion to bond with as he enjoys having another cat around to play with and keep him company. He has previously lived with a large, calm dog as long as he was able to keep his distance, showing he can coexist with respectful canine companions.

Izzy is a great eater and has excellent litter habits, so is an easy addition to the right home.

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, F3 vaccination, flea and worm treatment, microchip including the transfer of ownership, and sterilisation.

ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form via our website. You will be advised if your chosen cat is still available and then put in contact with the carer for a chance to ask further questions. If a meet-and-greet is then arranged, we will email the adoption paperwork and payment instructions to you prior to this. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen cat is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
