About Roxy
FOSTER TO ADOPT
Roxy is a lovely 3 year old ex breeding pure French bulldog.
Yes she is a fluffy Frenchie !
The fluffy Frenchie is a mutation of the FGF5 gene - and quite sought after .
She has lived in a home with other dogs and children.
Roxy has a sweet personality and has been around other dogs just hasn’t had a real chance to be a pet and this is her chance - we want her to he doted on for the rest of her life.
Roxy is good in the car also.
We will be desexing and having BOAS surgery while in her foster to adopt home (your home) .
If another dog in the home we need to view desexing certificate.
Our vet is in the Eastern suburbs so you would need to be willing to take for 2 visits 1 for surgery and 2nd for follow up.
We cover the surgery cost - which is her total adoption fee.
We are a smaller rescue and don’t generally rescue dogs however we where approached to assist in this case.
Roxy will have just finished feeding so she will need to wait 1 month for her surgery and then 2 weeks post for her final check up.
All items to foster including breed specific food.
Half fee up front and remainder after the final vet check
Up.
We are in contact during the whole foster period. We are the “owners” of the dog during this period.
Medical notes
BOAS specialist surgery - As most of the problems included in BOAS result from upper airway obstruction, the main initial focus is unblocking the airways.
This is most commonly achieved by surgically widening the nares and shortening the soft palate. Common in bulldog breeds.
