ABOUT JOEY

Affectionate and playful

Joey is a very happy and playful puppy. He loves showing how much he cares by greeting you with a little dance. Joey loves exploring and likes to find new smells in the park. One of his absolute favorite things is to run around on his adventures in the backyard or play with his foster sister.

OBEDIENCE
Joey is learning to sit when told and come when he's called. He is very food motivated which makes him a quick learner. We are training him to walk on the lead, not jump up when he's excited and he is getting better but needs someone who can keep up his training. Joey has been an outside dog with us and doesn't come into the house. He would need toilet training if he would be an inside/outside dog.

ENRICHMENT
Joey has a good bark and he doesn't use it often. He loves human interaction and likes his ears being rubbed. Joey loves to run and needs a good run-around of at least 45/60 mins every day.

SLEEPING
Joey sleeps well at night, he sleeps outside by himself at the moment. Throughout the day he likes to be wherever we are relaxing by our side or peer through the window to check that we are okay.

SOCIALISATION
Joey loves playing with other dogs. He is very playful and likes to have cuddles. And if there's another dog he will be happy too.

IDEAL HOME:
Joey would love a new home with a family that is active and can walk/run/throw balls for him every day. He happily entertains himself when left alone, but he would love a playmate. Joey is very loving and would love to live with a family that loves cuddles and can exercise him daily.

BEHAVIOURAL NOTES:
Puppy Behaviour- with puppy behaviour it is important to set boundaries and use consistent training to avoid creating bad habits.
Strong Breeds: Joey is a Rottweiler, German Shepherd and Siberian Husky mix. These three breeds are strong, active and stubborn breeds. An experienced dog owner is preferred.
