About Bumi
Meet Bumi, the dog that loves a cuddle but needs to be the big spoon. His love for you makes him forget his size, spooning you while licking your face or sitting on your lap. Is there such a thing as a perfect dog? Oh, and he howls at the ice cream truck jingle…
Bumi is always stoked to be around people, looks at the bright side of life and has so much love to give. He goes through soft toys as an old car goes through petrol, so hard, durable rubber toys will save you money in the long run. He has a blue rubber bone, which he attempts to play fetch with, or more like a game of ‘try and get this off me’. A Kong Extreme filled with peanut butter makes hours of entertainment and quiet time. Lounging around is amongst his favourite things, whether on a comfy couch or outside in the sun. After filling up those energy levels, Bumi will ensure that every day is full of fun and bug you for a game of ‘chase me for my toy’!
Bumi is a bit of a daddy’s boy - he looks up to male figures, but that also means he can become quite protective. He also likes to be the centre of attention and wants to be part of the conversation.
Energetic and curious, Bumi is finding his way in life and still learning the ropes. He’s had some training and would love to continue this while he gets in the hang of things. This guy is very food orientated, which definitely is the way to his sweet and precious doggy heart.
When you’re not around, he’s happy to relax. Unless he hears visitors, like delivery drivers, he will alert the hood until they leave. Woof woof! This being said, this gorgeous boofhead is not bothered by natural loud noises. He’ll sleep through loud thunderstorms and fireworks.
Bumi has never lived with other pets. He occasionally lived with small kids and has never met other dogs. This has been avoided due to his overexcitement, but this smart cookie would love to work on this!
Eager to see the world, he can pull a bit on the lead, but he’s got his road safety in check and sits at intersections. He’s usually pretty good at letting other dogs pass by unless they start to bark at him first - then he wants to have a chat back.
This big softie dreams of finding an experienced owner who loves his huge boofy antics and to be the only dog so he can lap up all your love and attention. If you’re looking to find love, Bumi is the one!

Other than his love for food, there’s nothing to mention here. Bumi is a fit and healthy boy!
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
