About Twinkie
🐱Name: Twinkie
🐱Gender: Male
🐱Breed: Domestic short hair
🐱Age: 5 months old
🐱Loves: cuddles and head scratches !
Sweet Twinkie is a stunning quirky & fun boy! 🐾
Twinkie was initially found as a stray, trapped and dumped at the pound! Even though this boy had a sad start to his shelter journey he hasn't let that stop him and instead has flourished in his new environment and truly has become a confident and proud kitten. This true smoochy boy is an absolute sweetheart, he adores people and will jump straight into your lap for patts, he is a total smoocher. He most likely will be able to live with another desexed cat as long as introductions are done properly and slow.👀👨👩👧👧
This sweet boy truly has the most gorgeous relaxed personality, he is always seeking love and attention and is just so easy going , we cannot fault him! He is untested currently with other cats but regardless you should always introduce him to any other cats slowly to give them the chance at becoming besties. He would also be fine as a solo cat as long as he gets plenty of one-on-one attention.💙🏡
Twinkie is all about the cuddles! He adores pats, butt rubs, ear scratches and most of all head scratches! He loves to curl up next to you in bed and flops over at any opportunity for a quick power nap. He has stolen the hearts of the staff as he is simply a stunning boy inside and out, he is an absolute purr machine, uses the litter tray magnificently, and is a very clean cat! He simply cannot get enough attention he just wants to sprawl out on your lap, couch and bed soaking up all the patts possible!🥰🤩
Being a kitten he also loves to play 24/7 he is slightly afraid of new toys at first but once he soon realises we are playing a game he is fully involved jumping from one cat tree to the other trying to catch the flying mouse toy in the air. He is super laid back and calm and does really love to explore new places so it is very important that in his new home he is given strict indoor access and is not to be allowed outside unless in an enclosed cat enclosure otherwise we feel he may become a wanderer due to his true adventurous personality.

The fist point of contact is to call the animal rehoming officer on 0439357051. We simply ask normal questions about your home life and what sort of lifestyle you can provide for the pet. Once you have had this conversation we usually will book in a meet and greet at the facility.
If the meet greet goes well the rehoming officer will book the animal in at the local vet clinic for their vetwork to be complete. The rehoming officer will then drop the animal off at the clinic that morning and you will be contacted by the vet staff when the animal is ready for collection later that afternoon.
Prior to collecting your animal from the vet you must text through your full name, email, residential address and contact number to the animal rehoming officer.
Your information is then passed onto council staff at the front office and you must complete the microchipping paperwork and also pay the animals adoption fee prior to collecting the animal from the vet. You will complete this paperwork and pay the fee not at the pound but at the Griffith city council office at 1 Benerembah St, Griffith NSW.
