About George
Loveable George IS STILL WAITING!! 🐶🏡
🐶Name: George
🐶Gender: Male
🐶Breed: Rottweiler Cross
🐶Adult size: Large
🐶Age: 3 Years old
Dog friendly gentle giant! 👀👨👩👧👧🖐🏻🤞🏻
George is on the prowl for his new forever home and is seeking someone who can keep up with his young energy & clingy behaviors. He never stops smiling and just wants to please you at all times, this boy is a true one of a kind!🥳🎀
George is very playful but not destructive, alert and inquisitive. George makes everyone laugh at how goofy he is, especially how he leaps around the play yard like a giraffe! Any hugs or pats going are always for him as far as he is concerned.🐶⭐️
George is very dog friendly and gets along well with all other dogs and would love his new home to have a desexed female companion to play with, he is a very gentle boy that is very well behaved.👀👨👩👧👧
George is very excitable on walks and loves car rides and going in the back of the Ute! He warms to everyone in no time and does not jump up on people and will sit for you at anytime in exchange for head scratches.✨❤️
George is a big gentle giant although he does get excited and gallops around he sits on command every time. He was surrendered due to no fault of his own and truly is a stunning well natured boy!😍 🥰
He has been an outside dog most of his life but we’re looking to change that! As George loves to be with you and doing what you are doing therefore his perfect home is somewhere with a nice, secure yard where he can laze about but also be introduced to life inside. George is not yet housetrained but is a very clever boy who listens to commands well and can easily be indoor trainned with a patient gentle owner.💙🏡
Please call council on 1300 176 077 🏘📞 ☎️ to book in a meet and greet with the goofy George! 😍

Medical notes
The fist point of contact is to call the animal rehoming officer on 0439357051. We simply ask normal questions about your home life and what sort of lifestyle you can provide for the pet. Once you have had this conversation we usually will book in a meet and greet at the facility.
If the meet greet goes well the rehoming officer will book the animal in at the local vet clinic for their vetwork to be complete. The rehoming officer will then drop the animal off at the clinic that morning and you will be contacted by the vet staff when the animal is ready for collection later that afternoon.
Prior to collecting your animal from the vet you must text through your full name, email, residential address and contact number to the animal rehoming officer.
Your information is then passed onto council staff at the front office and you must complete the microchipping paperwork and also pay the animals adoption fee prior to collecting the animal from the vet. You will complete this paperwork and pay the fee not at the pound but at the Griffith city council office at 1 Benerembah St, Griffith NSW.
