Are you wondering what is the definition of a lap cat… well, meet Jersey!

Any chance Jersey gets to sit on a lap, she’ll be there! She often races her foster carers to the couch, awaiting someone to sit with her. She will sit on your lap with the most giant purr and not move until physically moved. Jersey also loves having cuddles on beds - attention from humans is her favorite thing!

When Jersey doesn’t have a vacant spot on someone’s lap, she’ll self-entertain by playing with balls or toys around the house. Jersey has good manners & is a gentle eater when it comes to food time.

Jersey has been in care for over a year now, and during this time, she has grown to love humans and her life with them. Jersey currently lives in a home with three teenage girls & their mum, and as a result, she is fond of females in particular. She doesn’t mind the company of other fur babies but prefers the company of her human foster carers. Therefore, she can either be adopted out as an only cat (if you are home more often than not) or go to a home with another friendly playmate.

Jersey's weight and purr are very soothing, and she will make an excellent best friend to someone who needs the love and friendliness of this very special and exceptionally affectionate girl!
