About Callisto
Hey there! Thanks for stopping by!
I'm Callisto, named after Jupiters moon, how cool?!
Let me tell you a bit about myself :)
I'm only 3 months young and have already had so much happen in my little life!
Around 8 weeks old, I found my way into the care of the local animal pound - they took such good care of me and even found me a BBFL (best brother for life!), Polaris! We both ended up in the same place and fate had our backs, we got trialed as buddies one day and have been inseperable since. We got called Yin and Yang until the kind lady at the pound reached out to the pawesome people at Helping Hearts and we became Callisto and Polaris.
Since coming into the foster home we have been spoilt rotten! The peeps here adore us and have been so loving, the first night I was a little shy but I came out of my shell by the next day.
My 'brother' and I have a whole room just for ourselves - decked out with more cat toys, towers, and beds than I could ever have dreamed of! And not to mention the food! It literally never runs out, we eat and eat all day and night but it magically is refilled before we reach the bottom!
I love to spend my day zooming up the hall and around the rooms, I check in on the lady who is home with us a lot - she makes lots of cool things with these super long strings and a little stick... I'm not allowed them though (apparently they're important and I have enough toys).
Polaris and I love to play chasies and wrestling, after all we are little boys! We try and get Berry, a resident kitty who's not much older than us, to play too but she thinks she's too cool for us.
I also like to be brushed and fawned over like I'm in a beauty salon.
Our sleeping arangements are pretty simple - where is the closest, cosiest bed, and who else is on it? The hoomans are great to share with, and Pol, but the resident cats aren't big fans of us so we're learning to respect their space.
I watch the huge fluffy dogs through the window but I'm not quite brave enough to go near them just yet - but I think I will with time.
The lovely people at the vets made sure I'm the last of my bloodline and gave me a quick snip so I'm ready to go to my furrever home now! I've been thinking of what kind of family I would like to go live with and I think the best home would have another kitty friend (perhaps my soulmate - Polaris?) and people that want the company and joy I bring everywhere I go.
I'll be waiting right here in bed for that time to come!
Reach out here so my hoomans can do all the hard work for me!
Love always,
Callisto xx
