Angel ~ 1yr Old Blue Cattle Dog(On Trial 5/10/22)

Angel is a 20month old desexed Blue Cattle Dog. She is a very playful, and active pup. She is also super smart, eager to learn, and very loyal.

She loves the water and loves to play ball…. Any size or shape…. she loves fetch, playing soccer and with a ’tug of war’ rope. She is great at entertaining herself, and truly has a sense of humor. She is happy to sleep outside and doesn’t need someone at home all the time.

Angel can be timid and wary at first and will need someone with patience and kindness, as she can get overwhelmed and nervous in new environments, and with new people. She will need time to settle into a new home. Preferably a couple/single person who has had experience with either working dogs, and preferably cattle dogs. Due to a number of big changes in her early life, she is still learning to live in the world and our homes. At this stage, she would be best suited to a home with no kids.

Angel has had basic training but wasn’t well socialised as a young dog, so would be best suited to an only dog home, until she has had further work in this area. She will also need a home with high fences.

Once Angel feels comfortable and relaxed, her true personality shines through. She is quite the character and constantly has her foster carer in fits of laughter with her funny antics. Angel deserves a really great home, where she can be loved and re-pay that love with her unconditional cattle dog loyalty.

She is currently located in Mangrove Mountain on the Central Coast. A meet and greet, and possibly a ’slow adoption’ (so she can meet potential new owners a couple of times before moving) for her may be greatly beneficial, so she does not get overwhelmed with a big change.
