About Aggy
Meet the ever-gentle Aggy the Greyhound.
The girl with the beautiful smile
This beautiful sweet natured girl is an absolute treasure who will make a wonderful family addition
Sadly Aggy found herself in a rural pound after her elderly owner could no longer care for her
When Addy arrived she did need a bit of weight put on her and we have now got that sorted and her appetite is terrific
She is a beautiful 25 kilos and typical Greyhound size

PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM AND JUNK FOLDERS FOR YOUR APPLICATION FORM ONCE YOU HAVE SENT YOUR ENQUIRY
• Travelling in the car – Aggie travels well in a car and is so quiet you would forget she is there. She has no trouble getting in and out of a standard car. Actually she is just perfect in the car
• Food – Aggy has a great appetite and is being fed a mix Black Hawk dry food , as well as prime food rolls. Unfortunately, Aggy does have a bad habit of scavenge food. If food is left lying around or you are preparing food and you turn your back it will be gone in a flash. We have been working with her to break this habit, so patience will be needed.
• Outside – Aggy does enjoy a little outside time, and loves to laze in the sun. She actually follows the sun to stretch out in the warmest part of the yard
On the odd occasion she loves to have a run around so a decent size yard would be ideal
• Visitors – Aggy has not been bothered by visitors. And is always going up for a pat or rub behind the ears. Aggie is great with kids and enjoys prancing around and playing with them. She is definitely a people doggo and is happy to say hi to all people she meets
• Walks – lead experience. Once Aggy sees her harness and lead, she is ready. So, make sure you are ready first before pulling out hers, she barely stays still to get her harness on , for she is so excited to go out for walks. Aggy enjoys walking at a nice pace and exploring the neighbourhood. We have not had any issues with her meeting other dogs on her walk. However, she does dislike small fluffy dogs and cats, she will growl around them.
Aggy walks quiet well on the lead and enjoys a nice gentle pace
• Obedience - Aggy is well behaved and doesn’t get into much trouble at all. Like all dogs she is willing to learn.
• Inside - Aggy is an absolute couch potato and is happy to follow you around the house and stretch out on the couch for all of the day, if you let her. Apart from stealing food you leave out we have had no issues with her inside .
• Temperament - Dog socialising, cat, small animals- Aggy is good with other dogs who are medium to large size. She had a playdate with a blue heeler and was great with him. They played for a bit then sat together. BUT Aggy is definitely NOT good with cats or small fluffy dogs, as we have now discovered.
She's not a really playful girl at this stage so if another dog in residence we are seeking a gentle well mannered med to large male who is well socialised and calm
• Sleeping habits - Aggy sleeps well through the night and doesn’t get up during the night. She has her own dog bed, but on the odd occasion we have found her on the couch in the morning.
• Toilet training - Aggy is completely house trained and we have not had one accident from her. She will hold on if needed. While staying with us Aggy has been able to go in and out as she pleases. Aggy did initially have a few accidents in the house when she first arrived but this has now ceased as she has settled in
• Ideal Home –. Aggys ideal home would be with an active family who are willing to take her on long walks and runs. But also, will allow her to lay on the couch too. She will need a decent yard to stretch her legs in. A home with NO SMALL animals. Aggy must be allowed to sleep indoors. Aggy is a very sweet, quiet girl with a huge heart for loving. And will follow you around all the time.
