About Mila ~ Dachshund X Kelpie Puppy(Rev.Apps 6/9/22)
Mila is an 11-week-old Dachshund x Kelpie. The kelpie in her means that she loves to run however being a dachshund she loves cuddles and affection.
As a puppy Mila is still learning the basics, like toilet training and sit and stay. She would benefit from a home that is committed to her ongoing training. She currently loves wrestling with her foster siblings. In her new home she would love an older, similar sized dog to play with. She has not been exposed to cats or pocket pets.
Mila requires a family with the time to exercise her daily either with a long walk or lots of fetch as well as provide sufficient mental stimulation. will need a fenced in yard with room to run and absolutely no gaps. Mila needs to be welcome inside when people are home. We have been trying to teach her to sleep in her own bed however she loves to sneak into our bed for a cuddle!
To register your interest in adopting Mila, you can fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt or for more information please contact Sharlotte at Sharlotte732@hotmail.com

As Mila is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens areas because she will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing when she is approximately 5/6 months old. Please NO out of area applications.
PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please do NOT just list the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
