About Millie
Millie's foster carer says: millee is a happy dog. She mixes easily with our two, one male border collie and other female cattle x dog, both about 7yrs. She plays with b/collie well. Loves to run, fetch, play stick, play soccer. Our cattle dog doesn't play but millee mixes well with her. Millee also plays well with the neighbours beagle, they have a similar energy level. After a good walk in the morning she is happy to hang around the verandah & yard. She is good with cows and we have a horse. She learns quickly and listens to "no" and responds appropriately. Our daughter doesn't ride the pony so i don't know what millee would be like out horse riding, but i think she would be fine. She keeps an eye on us when out walking over the property, she comes back frequently to check on us. She is a faithful loyal dog. We have not seen any aggression. She looks like a grey hound cross and has a lot of energy. She is fine in the car. She sleeps outside on the verandah on the dog bed, next to our 2 dogs. We have an inside cat, our dogs don't mix with the cat. Millie seems to be fine with the cat although if she stares at her through the window we just say "no" or give a low growl and she goes away. I have not seen any bad behavioural issues. She always comes when she is called. She will come when i go outside but if i ignore her she just goes about her business. She knows to sit behind the gate when i open it to drive the car out. I don't make a fuss when i get home in the car and the dogs just have a look to see who is home. She likes to chase magpies. When on the verandah she will come and sit close by but will go if we say so. We have become very fond of her and she will make a loyal pet to right owner. She doesn't go in the river like our dogs. Because we are close to the nsw/qld border our dogs can go to either state. We do not fly animals interstate
